Rob Barnett

Rob Barnett was formerly a president of programming at CBS Radio  and was also an executive at MTV and VH1 (where he memorably spent a day with George Harrison when he visited the studio for a chat with John Fugelsang.) Rob called in to talk about his new book  “Next Job, Best Job: A Headhunter’s 11 Strategies to Get Hired Now.”

Rick Ernst

Rick Ernst is the producer and director of “Get Thrashed: The Story of Thrash Metal,” which is now out on DVD in a special encore edition.  We discussed the evolution of thrash metal, being a part of the “zine” scene (and how Lars Ulrich referred to it as the “Internet of the ’80s), and why many of the thrash metal albums sound timeless (hint: no gated snare drum).

Brad Goreski

Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski returns along with Giuliana Rancic and new host Melissa Rivers for “Fashion Police” on E!  New episodes begin Monday night at 7CT as they discuss the MTV Video Music Awards.  Brad talked about what we can expect this season, and also offered me some advice on getting dressed in the dark while half asleep.
