Bill McCormick checked in from the World News Center with a wrap-up of San Diego Comic-Con, including the movie trailers that were leaked in the wake of the convention.  We also discussed the science of the Fantastic Four.

Aaron Stanford, star of “12 Monkeys” on Syfy

Aaron Stanford steps into the role of James Cole (played by Bruce Willis in the movie) in the Syfy channel’s new series adaptation of “12 Monkeys,” premiering tonight at 8 Central.  After opening the interview with my geekiest sci-fi nerd question, we proceeded to talk about how the series stretches out from the original concept of the film, how Aaron portrays a man who is physically and mentally damaged by time travel, and how he’ll prepare to answer very specific and detailed questions from fans of the show.

Tyler Mane on Michael Myers and More

Tyler Mane played Michael Myers in Rob Zombie’s Halloween remakes.  He talked about getting his break in the movies while still working as a professional wrestler, how he landed the role of Sabretooth in X-Men movie, and how he was recognized in Costco in a very unusual way.  His latest project is “Compound Fracture,” out now on DVD.
