Bill McCormick’s Furry Fan Fiction

Bill McCormick dialed us up from the World News Center to chat about getting his name & photo in the paper (surprisingly, not a mug shot.) Things are going to start happening for him now!  We also discussed Bill being a furry guy (but not a Furry, though he does write Furry fiction). Plus:  Christopher Robin (a sweet, subversive movie), Captain Marvel vs. Shazam, and Aquaman‘s concentric circles.

Burt Ward

It was so great to chat with one of my childhood heroes as Burt Ward called in to talk about the digital and Blu-Ray release of “Batman vs. Two Face,” also featuring the voices of Adam West and William Shatner, as well as his Gentle Giants dog rescue and nutrition programs.  So fun to hear Robin greet me with “Hello, citizen!”

World News Center: Donald Trump, Black Panther, and Batgirl

Bill McCormick called in from the World News Center for his weekly visit and answered a listener’s question about a supposed new presidential rating system (there is none).  We also talked more about Black Panther, including our appearance in an upcoming issue of ICC Magazine. Plus:  Frank Zappa & Dee Snider vs. Tipper Gore, Ryan’s Batgirl fan fiction, retro cliffhangers, and awkward yet undetectable edits.

World News Center on Copyrighting Comic-Con

Tom Cavanagh

Tom Cavanagh called in to the show to talk about his role as Dr. Harrison Wells on CW’s “The Flash,” now in its fourth season.  Tom directed an episode that will air on Halloween night.  We discussed time travel, alternate universes, crossover episodes, the Chicago Cubs, and why he’s very impatient with himself as an actor when he’s also the director.

The World News Center’s Found Footage

Bill McCormick from the World News Center called in to chat about Dwayne Johnson in Shazam, yet another Spider-Man movie, and why he hopes we don’t see a found footage superhero horror movie.  Plus: more great news on MS research and other things that made this segment “really gooder.”

The Movie Man’s Painful Reentry

The Movie Man called in to review the new Wonder Woman and Captain Underpants movies and to recap his recent European vacation that featured a painful re-entry into the United States.

A Super Fun Superhero Update from the World News Center
