Jesse Brown from Canadaland

Jesse Brown is the host of the #1 Canadian podcast, “Canadaland,” and author of the entertaining and enlightening new book “Canadaland’s Guide to Canada.”  We discussed what “Sorry” really means, why Canada doesn’t really want you to move there, and the importance of Tim Horton’s in Canada’s sense of pride and nationalism.  Also, as required by the laws of Canadian Content, we talk about beer and hockey.

Alison Pill

Alison Pill stars in the new movie “Zoom,” which premieres September 2nd in theaters and video on demand.   Along with a discussion of the film, which was shot in both her hometown on Toronto and down in Brazil and features a mix of live action and animation, we also talked about her appearance on “Law and Order” a decade ago, and why she loves comic book fans but has only been to one convention.  Alison is charming, talented and very polite.
