Adam Rockoff, author of “The Horror Of It All”

Adam Rockoff is a screenwriter and television producer who is also the author of a new book: “The Horror Of It All: One Moviegoer’s Love Affair With Masked Maniacs, Frightened Virgins and the Living Dead.”  We had a fun chat about how he got into the horror genre (through a Disney movie!), why there’s always a horror film that comes out of nowhere to become a hit, and why we’re in a golden age for horror flicks.

Mark Haskell Smith, author of “Naked At Lunch”

Mark Haskell Smith is a comic novelist turned participatory journalist who explored the world of nudists and naturism in his new book “Naked At Lunch: A Reluctant Nudist’s Adventures in the Clothing Optional World.”  We talked about why he decided to explore this subculture, whether it’s more of a political movement or a personal celebration of self, and how the importance of the proper application of suitable sunscreen cannot be overstated.
